KATAGI Blau lives up to its meaning “there is no other like it under the sun”. And, literally, there is no other place like it in the bay of Palma.
In our rooftop, you will feel how Asia blends with Majorca in a unique and modern way in an idyllic location where the Mediterranean acts as the perfect companion to have lunch, dinner or a signature cocktail with friends at Playa de Palma. KATAGI Blau is a singular gastronomic experience through which our chef Jose Pellegrino highlights the sparkle of Asian food using exceptional products.

The Rooftop
Our rooftop at Playa de Palma is KATAGI Blau’s scene. The perfect location of our restaurant is enhanced by a unique setting that takes you directly to the essence of Asia through our dishes.
When the sun sets, the views from our rooftop in front of the bay of Palma overshadow any dusk in Majorca. Intensified by its vertical gardens and the perfect mixture of nature’s green and the golden sunset, our rooftop terrace has a carefully selected décor and the ideal extension to enjoy both space and intimacy.

We also have two weekly menus through which we unveil KATAGI Blau at a reasonable price and become your new meeting point for your business lunch and dinners or simply to enjoy in the best company.
Teppanyaki
Discover the authentic art of teppanyaki at KATAGI Blau. Come and enjoy the best views of the bay of Palma in our spectacular rooftop and be surprised by our teppanyaki, where you will witness our expert chefs delicately prepare the finest raw materials. A show in itself to see and taste.

OMAKASE
“Omakase” in Japanese literally means “to entrust oneself to the chef.”
It is a way to enjoy Japanese cuisine through a tasting menu, letting the chef make all the decisions based on the best ingredients available, trusting their wisdom.
At our exclusive 10-seat counter, itamae* Edu prepares and presents each course right in front of you. More than just cooking, it’s a silent choreography between the chef, the product, and the guest.
We offer a set tasting menu of approximately 16 courses, combining tradition and innovation, where everything happens at the chef’s rhythm. Each dish is crafted in front of the guest with technique, precision, and respect for the freshest ingredients. A deep attention to detail is evident in every cut, every movement.
If you’re looking for an authentic experience inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine, Katagi Blau’s Omakase is made for you. All you need is a seat at the counter and the curiosity to let yourself be surprised.
*Itamae: A Japanese term used to refer to a chef who has achieved a high level of skill and experience in the preparation of traditional dishes.
Brunch
At KATAGI Blau, every Sunday we offer a magnificent and exquisite brunch that combines the best of breakfast and lunch for you to enjoy in a unique setting.
A selection of six appetisers and three main courses that include the unmistakable Katagi sushi, beef cubes with seasonal vegetables in tempura and teriyaki sauce with pepper and a delicious prawn and miso wok. All of them paired with a wide variety of cold and hot drinks.
